United for a Polio-Free World
Rotary’s most historic promise is within our reach: Eradicating polio from the face of the earth.
Under the leadership of our District Governor, Rtn. Shriram Duvvuri, Rotary International District 3233 is organizing a massive, coordinated World Polio Day Drive on October 24, 2026. This day serves as an active, informative campaign to raise critical awareness, advocate for resources, and celebrate the incredible global progress made toward total eradication.
📢 Club Action Plan: Start Preparing Today!
To maximize our impact across District 3233, we are urging all Club Presidents, Secretaries, and Polio Chairs to begin planning their local club projects immediately. Let’s make this October a powerful statement of our collective strength.
Here are a few ways your club can participate:
- Public Awareness Rallies: Plan walks, cycling events, or human chains in prominent public areas to educate communities.
- Fundraising Campaigns: Organize a “Purple Pinkie” day, a benefit dinner, or a digital fundraiser to support the End Polio Now fund.
- Vaccination & Health Camps: Partner with local healthcare centers to reinforce routine immunization awareness.
- Media Outreach: Share informational graphics, press releases, and local impact stories on your community’s media platforms.
Stay Updated: Comprehensive guidelines, official branding toolkits, and centralized district project tracking details will be shared with all club leaders very soon.
